You burst through the barn doors. It is empty save for high stacks and stacks of hay everywhere. Hung on a pole in the middle of the barn is a scarecrow. When he sees you, he pulls himself off the pole and comes limping towards you.

FWUMP FWUMP FWUMP 

The stuffed hay in his uneven legs thumps against the wooden floorboards. 

“What have we here?” he sneers and sniffs the air around you. “Fresh blood! Young blood!” 

“T-the w-witch sent me,” you stutter in fear. “She wants a needle in a haystack.” 

“Oh does she? If you complete my challenge, I will give it to you. Do you accept?”
