We wonder why we did it,
Don’t know where our mind was;
What went wrong?
Maybe we weren’t that strong,
Whilst happening, it didn’t seem that bad.

Was it really a mistake?
Maybe we just needed a break,
A break from the constant pressure,
We forget about the little things that we treasure.

We scold ourselves for the things we’ve done,
Thinking we did them for no reason,
Knowing inside very well that there were reasons,
Reasons we wish not to discover,
Oh, how the vicious suffer.

Maybe we’ll realize those weren’t mistakes in the first place,
Just some extra know-how and experience we got to embrace.
